The story
FundFetch started from a recurring complaint: every adviser we spoke to said roughly the same thing about PDS and TMD admin, it's straightforward, it's slow, and it's scattered across 20 issuer websites that update on their own schedule.
The fix turned out to be unsexy and useful. Index every Australian issuer's PDS & TMD source page. Re-check daily. Surface the versions advisers actually need. Output something paste-able into a Statement of Advice. That's the product.
The boring part of advice has compounded for a decade. The fix isn't clever, it's just refusing to make advisers do it by hand.
What we believe
- The PDF stays with the issuer.FundFetch doesn't host or re-distribute provider documents. We index the metadata, surface the right version, and link out.
- Free is the default.A document-lookup tool shouldn't be the line item that breaks an advice practice's tech stack.
- Versions matter. Effective dates are first-class data. Archive history is a feature, not a receipt-printer.
- Australian-hosted. The data and the infrastructure stay onshore.
- Adviser-first.Every product decision starts with “does this remove a minute from a real workflow?”
What we aren't
- Not a research house. We don't rate products, score them, or compare them on merit. The index is factual; analysis is the adviser's job.
- Not a provider of advice.Nothing FundFetch outputs is financial product advice. It's document lookup, with a paper trail.
- Not a substitute for the issuer source.Every record links to the issuer's own URL. If the issuer moves the document, our crawler updates within 24 hours.
Who runs it
A small Australian team. We'd rather show our work than inflate the “About” page with stock photos. If you need to reach a human about anything in this site, the contact details are real and the inbox is monitored.
